As my philosophy of education is constantly evolving throughout my educational career, one thing remains constant. In order to successfully bring innovative technology into my classroom, relationships must remain at the forefront of everything I do. Building solid relationships is essential to ensure I help my learners inspire to do and be their best.
As an educational technology innovator, I want to continue to advocate for innovation in the classroom, fostering creativity within learners, and letting them learn in ways that speak to them. I think it is important for educators to help one another in this process; supporting one another and sharing ideas and resources with each other.
I will continue to reflect on what is successful as well as areas for improvement in order to maintain constant growth for both myself and my learners. Gathering feedback, working collaboratively with others, and being a lifelong learner will help me achieve my goals and build an environment for growth and empowerment for all learners.
Integrating technology into my classroom will be truly meaningful. Technology should not be used just because we have it, rather it should be used to further enhance learning and extend what learners already know. Technology is a wonderful tool when it is used in a way that transforms learning into new and innovative ways rather than a supplement for classroom instruction.
The MSET program has made me confident to take risks and use my resources in order to be innovative and forward thinking in my classroom. I will continue be a leader for my learners so they can be confident to do the same.
