Throughout the MSET program, I had many opportunities to be reflective both in my coursework and as it applies to my professional life. I learned the importance of taking time to stop and think about every decision I make and every experience I encounter when it comes to educational technology. Taking time to reflect and find ways to improve is critical to being a good educator.

LT 716 Final Project
For this final project, I created a professional development course to train teachers using Canvas. This was one of my more challenges projects during the MSET program. I had to spend a lot of time reflecting on how to be a teacher to adults rather than elementary students. I spent time talking to teachers and gathering feedback on their needs. I was reflective throughout the process of designing and building this course, and had to spend a lot of time coming back to improve or change elements of my course.
LT 731 Welcome to My Class Video Presentation
Multimedia productions was one of my very first courses of the program, and it challenged me to become better with my visual design and graphic skills. Looking back on my time in the MSET program, I have realized how much design skills have improved over the course of two years. This video presentation gave me the chance to reflect on what my students would want coming into a new school year. I was also reflective as I thought about my classroom procedures and routines that I knew I wanted to highlight in this welcome video which I used at the beginning of the new school year.
LT 741 Teal Team Classroom Matrix
This matrix was created to help students with expectations within our classrooms. In order to create this, I had to reflect individually as well as with my team on what standards we wanted to set for our students. After introducing this, I worked with my students to effectively implement it into our everyday routines. Learners also had to be reflective of their choices and behaviors to ensure they aligned with our matrix.
