LET 720 Innovation Project
This project focused on innovating my coding and programming curriculum within my classroom. Through the creation of this product, I was able to gain a better understanding of my learner's needs as well as encouraging them to be problem finders and solvers. This product opened the door for me to take risks and continue to develop my own skills with coding and programming.
CET 756 Computer Science Curriculum Pathway
In Introduction to Instructional Programming, I grew my understanding and confidence with coding and programming. As an innovative leader for my school, I wanted to create a computer science curriculum pathway that could be used district-wide to encourage teachers to bring more CS into the lives of the learners.
GenCyber Camp Share with Care Lesson Plan
One of my favorite experiences during this program was attending the GenCyber Cyber Security Camp hosted by DSU. I gained so much knowledge in cybersecurity topics and attended various sessions that focused in depth on the cybersecurity concepts. I created this lesson plan as a part of camp, and have since implemented it into my computer science curriculum for fourth and fifth grade students.
