I grew up in Queens and I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Masters in Psychology from Teachers College in 2011 and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Suny New Paltz in 2014. Living most of my life in the New York City area gives me a perspective on the ways that living in this environment can enhance to stress and recognize both the opportunities this city has to offer as well as challenges people living here face. Since graduating in 2014 I have since spent my time working in a community mental health agency and in private practice where I have worked with a wide range of populations providing both individual and group therapy. Working in a community health center has also allowed me to see the value of integrated care and the importance of a holistic approach to treatment. This includes paying attention to both your physical, spiritual, and mental health as well as the benefits of collaboration across professionals. The issues listed on this site are the issues I have found I've had a lot of success working with. I utilize evidenced based practice and client feedback to help inform my practice while also utilizing creativity in my work to help you achieve ideal outcomes.
