Hey, I'm Nathan Warner a senior at Pomona High School. This is my first year in journalism. Interesting thoughts about journalism is that just being able to speak your mind and writing whatever your topic is on. Going into the year I really wasn't looking forward coming to the class or even having the class. But the first couple weeks were actually fun and getting to know the others were one of the best things. As a person that doesn't really like to write at all, it really makes you think that whatever you write can always lead to something.
Wildlife is so cool no matter if your not in the mountains. Where ever you are and see some what of wildlife take a pic and admire it.
Travel has always been a thing my family has done in the past. I've been to Germany 4 times and our last time we went on a road trip to Switzerland.
This car is still my car today. This here is a beauty, just starting up the car gives you all the energy in the world.
Throughout this last giving year, it can really get to you when your about to be done and you don't want it to to be done because of the all the fun you have and all the memories you have to leave behind. As the time of Graduation comes closer it's the excitement that gets more and more. The relief knowing we will be out of High School is an amazing accomplishment to earn, but knowing that most of your friends are not going to be there when your moving on with life after.
Going to the mountains is always the stress relief most people have, at least with me I go up because to get away from my normal life if you wanna even say it's normal. Recently I went up to Windy Peak as a High School leader and it was an amazing time, and just the experience was outstanding. The atmosphere was incredible and the people as well. Seeing the views every morning eve every night was beautiful.
Most important thing in the world to me is my family and how they were the ones who got me here where I am today. Without them i would be somewhere else in the world, but yet I am here at Pomona High School. As well Friends they have also been a huge part of just my life in general because they have given a lot of support to me and just through the years of knowing them.
Last year of High School feels weird to me to even say it. Even been the top dog of the school doesn't even feel like it's real at all. Trust me when i say this, i still feel like a sophomore coming into senior year. Being a senior does indeed give you a lot more freedom as like a freshmen just because of what you are given as a senior or just as a teenager.
