Ponchita Moore

Hi, my name is Ponchita Moore. I am a resident of the 9th Ward and 5th Police District. I am running for district council here in the 5th Police district.

This new citywide commission will empower citizens to say who and how they are policed. In addition, it will also establish social services programs intended to safeguard, uplift, and resurrect our communities!

I have deep compassion for justice, and I believe that all Chicago citizens deserve fair policing and community services that are tailored to the challenges and needs of OUR COMMUNITIES despite our social or economic backgrounds.

With your help, I can be elected as one of the district Council members for the 5th Police district, placing me in position to fight for safety and improvements for of all 5th District residents.
