Brenda Waters 

My name is Brenda Waters I am running for a fourth district council member. I have been in this community for over 50 years I grew up in the Jeffery Manor community. I am a community leader, and the president of the Friends of Merrill Park not for profit committee, and also the President of the Merrill PAC in the Jeffery Manor community. I remember when the fourth district police department was located at 89th in exchange in Chicago. I have been a healthcare worker for 47 years, and the most fulfilling part of my job is to advocate for patients. As a council members I will advocate for the community I am looking forward with assisting in building a stronger connection between the police and the community communication safety for the community and accountability get input from the community, and to get input on the policies I have been dedicated to improving the lies of our use in the community for over 40 years, and I look forward to bringing some passion to the fourth district council my platform is to improve mental health of our local police force and our citizens.
