What is your favorite thing about WJES?

WJES is amazing in so many ways! Some of the reasons I love WJES are: their love and support of teachers and our families, our school culture and family, and the amazing kids who are students here.

What is your passion?

I have so many passions in life: God, my family, being a Mama, traveling, being a teacher, music, and so many other things. In my career, I am passionate about building relationships with our students (and their families) and meeting each kid where they are at to help every student feel as successful as possible! But most importantly, I want every kiddo I teach to feel loved and safe. I am also extremely passionate about language and literacy and integrating it into all areas of my Pre-K classroom.

Tell us a fun fact about you!

My grandfather played baseball with Jackie Robinson, and although I am right-handed, I dribbled a basketball with my left hand!

THE 7 MINDSETS

The We are Connected mindset teaches us that everyone who comes into our lives can help us to achieve and live our dreams. Working with, for, and through others is crucial to realizing our dreams. When you understand this and constantly seek the positives from relationships with others, your performance in every area of your life improves. In the lessons for this mindset, we help students explore synergies with others, embrace diversity, and relish the competition that will allow them to maximize their potential by working with and through others.
