Join us at our WJES Spring Festival! The festival will be held at WJES on Thursday, March 30th from 4:00PM to 7:00 PM. There will be inflatables, Braselton Trolley, Chorus Show, Spring Club performances, petting farm, food, games, and more!
WJES is excited for the opportunity to participate in a virtual STEAM Night on Tuesday, April 11th! Please read the information LINKED HERE and register online. The deadline for registration is Thursday, March 30th. Material kits will be distributed after Spring Break so that you will have all the materials needed for the 4 activities on April 11th. Thank you!
Some of our proud Panthers will be participating in the Jackson County Spring Special Olympics soon! If you'd like to show your support to our WJES participants, you can order shirts for $10 at THIS LINK. Online sales close on April 3. Elementary athletes will compete on April 21st at East Jackson Comprehensive High School.
Individual Spring pictures will be held on March 29th and it is optional. All photos are prepaid. Only students who prepay will be photographed on picture day. Please send in order forms or order online by Tuesday, March 28th. Order online at https://bentley-photography.hhimagehost.com

Spotlight: "Live to Give" Mindset Heroes
We are proud to recognize our "Live to Give" Mindset winners, staff member Mrs. Jessica Cole and 4th grade student Margarita Balcazar-Amaya! The "Live to Give" mindset teaches the importance of serving others while maximizing our own potential.
Spotlight: Jeff Mather, Artist-In-Residence
Jeff Mather, sculpture artist, continues to design and create collaborative art for the 1st grade garden! We are excited to see the finished product at the reveal during the Spring Arts Festival Thursday, March 30th from 4-7.
Spotlight: Jackson County Art Show 2023
The Jackson County School System hosted its annual Art Show reception on Thursday, March 16th. Over 400 pieces of art are on display inside the Empower Student Center through March 30.
We are so proud of all our WJES students who where choses to have their artwork on display.
