The Jackson County School System will once again be participating in the annual Bus Safety Poster Contest sponsored by the Georgia Department of Education.

HES students can earn a FREE ticket to the Athens Rock Lobsters hockey game—just by reading! Log 1,000 minutes before December 17, 2025 to receive a ticket.

This FREE 10-week running program from Atlanta Track Club is open to all 3rd–5th graders—no experience needed! The goal: run 13.1 miles over the season.
