Every year, countless snack pouches end up in dumpsters and landfills across America. We are working with TerraCycle® to put an end to this enormous loss of resources.
The Recycling Project allows us to recycle these pouches and prevent them from ending up in landfills.
And not only are you helping the environment, but the pouches you recycle with us have the potential to earn funding for our school or organization.
Accepted Items: All brands of squeezable snack plastic pouches and caps, All Entenmann’s Little Bites® pouches and Minis, Takis® snacks packaging.
Heroes Elementary is thrilled to join the Jackson County School System in participating in the Malcolm Mitchell ReadBowl! This exciting, free global reading competition is all about inspiring students to develop a lifelong love of reading. Let’s get reading, Heroes!
Parents, you can help us by tracking the number of minutes your student(s) reads each night on their reading log, which will be sent home soon! The top class per grade level will win a pizza party!
