School News and Important Information
A beautiful Veterans Day ceremony this week, where our fourth and fifth graders led the way in honoring those who have served. 🇺🇸 It was a moment to reflect, remember, and show gratitude to the brave men and women who’ve given so much for our country. 💙

HES is excited to host our first Thanksgiving Luncheon with our families! Join us over three days—November 19, 20, and 21!
Families, please remember to park in the back and enter through the back doors. We kindly ask that you arrive 20 minutes before your student's luncheon time.
After the luncheon, students will return to class. Thank you for helping us prioritize learning!
Starting Monday, Nov 18, the Media Center will sell Roars of Kindness (kindness grams) with a holiday twist.
For $1, anyone can send a note of kindness or encouragement with a holiday lollipop to a student or staff member.
Parents can purchase online, or students can buy in the media center (exact change only) from 7:10-7:40, Nov 18-Dec 18.
Deliveries will begin Dec 2. Supplies are limited—first come, first served!
All proceeds will benefit the Media Center

Holiday Book Swap
Starting Mon, Dec 2, Students may bring gently used books to the library to swap with other students. We will track the number of books each student brings.
On December 16, students will come to the library to select any books of their choice based on the number of books they brought.

Our first HES Veterans Day celebration was a very special time for our community to come together with respect, honor and love.
