Fun and Learn
Li incontrerete a Capogallo, nel centro storico della citta, alla Kala e a Villa Giulia, a fare trekking sulla via antica di Monte Pellegrino, tra i mercati storici o sulla spiaggia. Sono gli studenti del laboratorio di lingua inglese Fun and Learn.
Il progetto si inserisce nel piano PON Apprendimento e socialità finanziato dal Fondo Sociale Europeo.
In particolare questi studenti svolgeranno un percorso per il potenziamento delle abilità comunicative in lingua inglese. La particolarità dell'esperienza è quella di coniugare l'insegnamento della lingua straniera con attività all'aria aperta. Il docente madrelingua che li accompagna è Freddie King che proporrà loro una serie di attività sul campo intorno a temi attuali ed interessanti prendendo proprio spunto dal setting. Non mancherà il momento ludico, un fresco bagno per riprendersi dalla calura estiva. L' Outdoor Learning si propone l'apprendimento di nozioni in ambienti esterni, in tali situazioni gli studenti possono infatti apprendere in forma globale, incrementando così un loro curriculum experience.Aumenta l'apprendimento dello studente per numerose ragioni fra i quali la riduzione dello stress, l'aumento delle relazioni interpersonali e con il contesto accogliente.
Ancora una volta l'istituto EinaudiPareto sceglie la didattica innovativa ed inclusiva con lo sguardo sempre rivolto al grande tema dell'ambiente e alla sua salvaguardia e rispetto.

Il Capo/Ballaro/Shops – Theme: Shopping & Food

We informally discuss the different foods the students see – what they like, don’t like, maybe new foods they don’t know or how to prepare or eat
Ballaro Walk
In small groups, students must decide on an original and innovative 3-course meal based on the foods they see in the market
Once we have walked through the market, each group will present in 3-course meal to the rest of the class – which we will then decide on the best on

They must “pretend” it is an invention/new technology and convince us “The Dragons” that we should invest in it

Addaura – Theme: The Sea

Warmer: Taboo – Based on a review of the vocabulary we have studied over the last two weeks

The Sea: Research activity
Students have the opportunity to research and write about whatever they want connected to the Sea
Suggested topics – Immigration from Africa, Best holiday at the sea, Sea themed poetry/short stories, Environmental issues, Sea life and habit
Games – Uno, card games, other board games that are available to the group
