Same radio... different channels....
We have purchased radios for use throughout the building.
When possible plug the radio in by your room's phone. That will make it a common place and easier for people to find it if needed.
Every time you leave the building you should have a radio, vest, and whistle. My radio is on my belt and my whistle is on my vest zipper. We will order more vests and whistles as needed.
Most radios can be turned off throughout the day until they are needed.
Each radio has six pre-programmed channels. A list is below and on the "radio" tab of the master schedule.
The up down buttons on the front center of the radio switch between channels.
Channel 1-3.3 is the channel most used and used by main office, classrooms, and any common programs.
Channel 2-3.3 (SPED EBD)
Channel 3-0.7 (SPED LD)
Channel 4-0.3 (SPED DCD)
Channel 5-1.8 (Kindergarten Parent Pickup Line)
Channel 6-4.0 (1st-5th Parent Pickup Line) if we move away from zoom, still zoom for now.
Please stay on your own channel unless you need to switch to talk to someone else and please do not purposefully scan other channels.
Catch Sean if you have any radio related questions.
There are stickers, in the workroom by the mailboxes, with which channel is which.
For now I put the sticker on the back of my name badge.
