PEM HS is dedicated to helping students prepare for their future by building a personal learning plan (meeting the MN State Statue 120B.125). Beginning in eighth grade students set up an account in MN Career Information System to help guide them through self assessment, explore career options, and set future goals. This is a collaborative effort from the classroom, advisory program, and high school counseling office. We are supportive of all options beyond high school including enrolling in the workforce or apprenticeship program, enlisting in the military, or enrolling in college.
PEM HS students have the opportunity to be awarded a certificate in addition to their diploma for Career Readiness, College Readiness, or Career & College Readiness.
