Most commonly, PSEO courses are delivered by the postsecondary institution (PSI) online or in person on campus. Tuition, fees, and textbooks are provided to the student at no cost through PSEO Program. All textbooks and equipment provided to the student and paid for through the PSEO program is the property of the participating postsecondary institution. Each student is required to return all textbooks and equipment after the course has ended. For the most up to date information about PSEO on the MDE Website: Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO)
Student Notification of Intent to Enroll by May 30th. To assist districts in planning, district students must notify their enrolling public school district by May 30 each year of their intent to enroll in postsecondary courses during the following school year. If the student does not notify by May 30, the student/family may be financially responsible for the PSEO costs.
Notice of Student Registration Form (NOSR). The PSEO Notice of Student Registration must be compledted each semester by an eligible student and signed by the student’s parent or guardian (if the student is under the age of 18) in section one of the form. P-E-M HS Students will complete this step during a student~parent~counselor meeting.
Credits and Grading PSEO Courses at P-E-M HS. P-E-M HS has an unweighted grading system. PSEO courses are entered on the students transcript as earned through the Post Secondary Institution. Students withdrawing from a PSEO course after the drop/add deadline, will result in a WF (withdraw failure) grade on their high school transcript.
