Financial Aid

In order to fill out the FAFSA, you must have an FSA ID and password.  An FSA ID is a username and password that you must use to log in to the FAFSA and identifies you as someone who has the right to access your own personal information.  Student and Parent must have their own FSA ID.  Processing your FSA ID can take up to 5 business days, so we recommend creating it now (you will need your SSN).  **Use a personal email (not your school email).  To create your FSA ID go to:  https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch 

Remember that you will report your 2022 taxes on the FAFSA.

FAFSA Simplification Act.  What is changing?

• fewer questions on fthe FAFSA

• more available aid to students and families (such as Pell Grant awards)

• the ability for students/famiies to report personal, unusual, and/or special circumstance considerations

• families will not get their Student Aid Index (SAI) until at least February

• most colleges will not have a Financial Aid deadline
