The following career planning information is a guide to help PEM HS students prepare for their future.
Self Assessment is identifying interests, strengths, and abilities. MnCIS is the platform available to PEM HS students. Log in and then click on Self-Surveys for the available assessments such as: Career Cluster Inventory, IDEAS, Interest Profiler, Learning Style Inventory . Academic assessments can be found under the Practice Tests tab.

Exploring Career Options.
MnCIS MN Career Information System is an online platform that all PEM students can access. Students create an account in grade 8 in preparation for high school course regitration and Careers 9 class. Students are able to explore careers and find the appropriate training for those careers. MnCIS can also match colleges with the program of study interst.
Occupations in Demand Data Tool This tool allows you to find out what jobs are in high demand in each region of the state. The typical wage, long-term employment outlook, training (or degree) required and schools that offer training programs for each occupation are also listed.
Future Forward is a website available to you for not only career and college exploration but can link you to potential employers for career observations/job shadows and events.
