Carrying Capacity Calculator

USER MANUAL

The tool is simple to use. Being a geojson.io fork, it has all the functionalities of the tool, but is extended to calculate walkable areas and the tourism carrying capacity. The steps to use these features are the following:

(1) Select one of the supported formats to draw polygons, and draw the area to be studied;

You can, alternatively, use the space on the right (below on mobile) to paste geometries in GeoJSON format, which the tool will draw over the map

(2) Choose the options and press the "Calculate carrying capacity" button

(3) When the walkable area is calculated, the popup shows the statistics of the results, and inputs to calculate the stages of tourism carrying capacity (PCC, RCC and ECC):

(4) The corrective factors for the calculation of the RCC and be added and named as needed

(5) With the inputs filled, the user can see the levels of tourism carrying capacity.
