You will have the chance to discover a beautiful country that will offers you many possibilities (if you love waffles, french fries and beers, it's already a major step ahead!).
For the Non EU Citizens, as you might be already aware, it is compulsory for us to legalize your employment in Belgium. This is done by obtaining a Belgian Single Permit or European blue card, which is issued by the Belgian Immigration Office. The application for this permit must be made by the school. All costs incurred in securing the visa, single permit or blue card will be reimbursed by the school by providing the original receipts.
For the EU Citizens, you will have to visit the Town Hall (Commune) within 8 days to establish your residence in Belgium and to obtain your Belgian ID Card.
Please note that any valid European driving license is valid in Belgium. However, when a non-EU person is registered in Belgium, the non-EU driving license will be no longer valid and must be turned into an European license after 185 days. This is a relatively easy process for which you have to go to the Belgian Town Hall (commune).
Please note that the HR department and our dedicated providers will be present at every step to offer you the support you would need.
Important note : If you have expenses to be reimbursed as part of the Visa application (for you and your family members), please send them to us by November 30, 2025 at the latest. It will then no longer be possible to process the reimbursements.
