School day

The school day runs  between 08:35 and 15:40, according to the division.

• Buses leave the campus at 15:45 – 15:50.  

• The teachers are officially at school from 08:30 until 16:00, with faculty meetings on Mondays (check with your division for the schedule).  These meetings are part of the work day, so your presence is requested.

School Year

• There are 177  student days.  

• The GREEN days are days when there is no school for the students, and teachers mostly don’t come in, Admin and Campus Support Staff will be working.

• The RED days are days when the school is fully closed. 

• 10 Public  Holidays are marked in red

Learning Conferences, professional development

• The learning conferences (parent – teachers meetings) give the parents the opportunity to learn more about their child.  Notification and sign-up is online.

Health Office

• The nurses, Marie-France Friedrich, Anna Ball and Melissa Verheven, are  located in Health Office, in the Chalet, behind the tennis bubble.

ISB+

• ISB+ organizes the after school activities , summer camps and child supervision

Coaching sports

Teachers have the possibility to coach a number of sports.  If interested in coaching sports, please contact the Athletic Director  Lee Rosky at roskyl@isb.be 

Dress code

 There is no formal dress code at ISB.   We trust your judgment to dress in a professional fashion.

Family Association (FA)

The Family Association (FA) is the very active association of parents at ISB. All parents and/or guardians of students enrolled at ISB as well as faculty and administrative staff are automatically members of the FA.
