Woodpeckers

Woodpeckers are birds that are native to jungles. They peck at tree bark, as the name suggests. They peck at trees to make holes in them, to get insects, which is their meal. Eggs are a purple colour. Different species include The Red Headed Woodpecker, The Pileated Woodpecker, The Red Bellied Woodpecker, The Downy Woodpecker, and The Northern Flicker.
