Domestic Birds

Domestic Birds are the birds that live on farms, or birds that people keep as pets. They are birds that are used to give food, like chickens and turkeys. A famous domestic bird was the pet talking grey parrot, Alex. It was just a regular grey parrot, until it learnt how to talk like a human, and was taken to shows to perform. Turkeys and Chickens are killed to be eaten, but farmers usually keep them alive to lay eggs. Domesticated Birds are usually Parrots, Chickens, and Turkeys.
