Eagles are some of the most fascinating birds on earth, because there are so many kinds of them. Be it from the apex hunter, the Golden Eagle, to the famous Bald Eagle, they range all over the world. The Harpy Eagle in The Amazon Rain Forest, The Golden Eagle in the mountains, the Bald Eagle in the U.S.A and Alaska, and so on. But, just because they sound similar, there are many differences between all the eagles. One example is the diet. Golden and Harpy Eagles are bird hunters, going for other birds, and sometimes even snakes. But, The Bald Eagle is a fish hunter, diving down into the water for fish. The bald eagle also has an enemy, The Osprey. Both are fish hunters, and compete with each other for food and their territory. But, even Bald Eagles go for snakes.
Eagles live in different places, as mentioned before. But, it is only because it suits the bird. The Bald Eagle has a thick coat of feathers, suiting it to live in the cold, harsh weather of Alaska. It is the same for the Golden Eagle, as it mostly hunts in the mountains. However, The Harpy Eagle is adapted to live in the hot rain forest, having a thinner coat of feathers. It's food is perfect and easy to catch, like Spider Monkeys and Hummingbirds.
