We do not know exactly how Urvogel looked. It could have had feathers or scales. According to BBC, Archaeopteryx was capable of flying in short distances and small bursts. The first fossil of Archaeopteryx was discovered by Hermann von Meyer.
Urvogel is the German name for Archaeopteryx.
