ICU祭2025本館企画に参加しました

2025年10月12日・13日にICU祭が開催され、ICU SDGs推進室は本館企画として、学内での取り組みや活動の紹介、バンブーランタンワークショップ等を行いました。2日間合わせて、300名を超える方々にブースに足を運んでいただきました。ご来場いただきまして誠にありがとうございました。

The ICU Festival was held on October 12-13, 2025, and the ICU SDGs Promotion Office took part in the University Hall program, presenting on-campus initiatives and activities and hosting a bamboo lantern workshop, among other events. Over the two days, more than 300 visitors stopped by our booth. The office wishes to express our gratitude to everyone who came.

バンブーランタンワークショップ

キャンパス内で伐採した竹を活用し、「バンブーランタンワークショップ」をICU祭にて開催しました。近年、ICUキャンパスでは竹の繁茂が進み、生態系や希少な動植物への影響が懸念されています。SDGs推進室・自然班では、この問題に対応するため、昼休みなどの空き時間を利用して竹林の伐採や管理を行っています。今回のワークショップは、こうした活動や竹害の現状を多くの方に知っていただき、身近な自然資源をどのように活かせるかを考えるきっかけとして企画しました。参加者は、伐採した竹に穴をあけたり、やすりをかけたり、色を塗ったりしながら、世界に一つだけのオリジナルランタンを制作しました。2日間で延べ40名を超える方々にご参加いただき、子どもから大人までが竹の魅力や自然とのつながりを感じながらものづくりを楽しむ姿が見られました。自然との共生や資源の有効活用について考えるきっかけとなる、実りある機会になりました。

Bamboo Lantern Workshop

A Bamboo Lantern Workshop was held at the ICU Festival using bamboo felled on campus. In recent years, the proliferation of bamboo on the ICU campus has raised concerns about its impact on the ecosystem and on rare flora and fauna. To address this issue, the SDGs Promotion Office's Nature Team has been cutting and managing bamboo groves during lunch breaks and other available times. This workshop was planned as an opportunity for more people to learn about these activities and the current situation of bamboo overgrowth, and to consider how local natural resources can be put to good use. Participants created their own one-of-a-kind lanterns by drilling holes into the felled bamboo, sanding it, and painting it. More than 40 people took part over the two days, and both children and adults were enjoying the process of making things while experiencing the appeal of bamboo and their connection to nature. It proved to be a meaningful opportunity to reflect on coexistence with nature and the effective use of resources.

ポスター展示

SDGs推進室内の各活動班の活動内容や、学内のサークルの取り組みなどを紹介しました！また、来場者の方々にSDGsやフェアトレードについてPost itを使って書き込んでいってもらう参加型の展示も行い、より多くの方に自分ごとに感じてもらえるように工夫を行いました。
展示を通して来場者の方とコミュニケーションが生まれることもあり、活動を知っていただく良いきっかけになったと思います。

Poster Exhibition

The activities of each team within the SDGs Promotion Office as well as initiatives by student clubs on campus were introduced. The office also hosted an interactive display in which visitors wrote their thoughts on SDGs and fair trade on Post-its, allowing them to reflect on these topics personally. The exhibition created opportunities for communication with visitors and served as a valuable chance for people to learn about our activities.

スタンプラリー企画

ICU内でSDGsに関係する活動をしているサークルと、SDGs推進室のブースを回るスタンプラリーを行いました！
SDGs推進室以外に、ICU Honey Project、ICU地産地消プロジェクト、ICU Compost、IRIS、Paper Miracles、ICU Plant Basedの6団体が参加しました。それぞれ活動内容は異なりますが、持続可能な社会の実現に向けて社会問題にアプローチをしています。
各ブースでは、その団体についてのクイズも作り、展示しました。
各団体のブースを回ることで、様々な生徒が多様な視点から、SDGsに取り組んでいることを知っていただく良い機会になったと思います。

Stamp Rally Event

On the day, a stamp rally where participants could visit SDG-related student clubs across ICU as well as the SDGs Promotion Office booth was held. In addition to the SDGs Promotion Office, six groups participated: the ICU Honey Project, ICU Make & Consume Local Project, ICU Compost, IRIS, Paper Miracles, and ICU Plant Based. While their activities vary, each group addresses social issues in pursuit of a sustainable society. Each booth featured and displayed a quiz introducing the respective organization. It was a valuable opportunity for visitors to see that a wide range of students are engaging with the SDGs from diverse perspectives by visiting the booths of the various groups.

衣服のテイクフリー企画

誰かのいらないものは、誰かにとっては必要なものかもしれないという考えから、去年寮生から回収した使わなくなった服を、再び他の学生や来場者にとっていただけるブースを用意しました。多くの来場者が足を止めてくださりました。

Take-Free Clothing Initiative

Based on the idea that something unnecessary to one person may be needed by someone else, the office set up a booth offering clothing collected last year from dorm residents who no longer needed their items, allowing other students and visitors to take them freely. Many visitors stopped by the booth. The event helped promote resource circulation within the university.

大学内の資源の循環を促すイベントとなりました。

The event promoted the sustainable cycling of the resources at the university.
