Team SheCoders from IIIT-Delhi comprising Diya Narula (B.Tech. CSD), Sanskriti Gupta (B.Tech. CSSS), Sneha Agarwal (B.Tech. CSD), and Sakshi K. (M.Tech. CSE) secured the First Prize in the Smart Cities category, winning a cash prize of ₹2.5 lakh for their innovative project, Nadi-Nagar at WitchHunt 2026.

A new study by Prof. Ganesh Bagler and his research team was featured in The Economic Times. The study reveals that recipes follow mathematical laws, much like human language. They used AI to analyse over 118,000 recipes from 26 cuisines. They found four statistical laws shaping cooking globally.

The paper titled “Gut Microbiome Features Associated with Bifidobacterium Colonization Predict Personalized Probiotic Persistence Patterns,” by Ph.D. students Sourav Goswami and Alisha Ansari (Advisor: Dr. Tarini Shankar Ghosh), was published in Nature Communications.
Prof. Pravesh Biyani authored an article titled “Micro-Credentials vs Degrees: Will Traditional Higher Education Face Its Biggest Disruption Yet?”, featured in ET Education.
Dr. Arani Bhattacharya authored an article titled “The Doctorate Dilemma: Is a Ph.D. a Career Asset or an Academic Detour?”, featured in The Hindu.
Dr. Venkata Ratnadeep Suri (Faculty, IIITD) authored an article titled “AI for Emotional Wellbeing,” featured in BW Wellbeing World.
