Publications

‘The Gig Economy in the Pandemic: Outsourcing Risk, Privatising Gain?’ by Dr. Gayatri Nair (Faculty, #IIITD) was published in The India Forum, a journal-magazine on contemporary issues.

Paper titled ‘Low-Noise Energy Efficient Readout Front-End for Wearable Continuous Blood Pressure Monitoring Systems’ by Wazir Singh (PhD Student, IIITD), Sujay Deb (Faculty, IIITD), Pydi Bahubalindruni (Faculty, IISER Bhopal) was published in IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics.

Paper titled "Spatiotemporal Hypergraph Networks for Stock Forecasting" accepted as a full paper (acceptance rate 9.8%) at the 20th IEEE International Conference on Data Mining #ICDM2020, a CORE A* conference! ICDM is one of the best conferences in the area of Data Mining.

Paper titled "Cache Selection in Dynamic D2D Multicast Networks Using Inhomogeneous Markov Model" authored by Mansi Peer (PhD Student), Dr. Vivek Ashok Bohara (Faculty) and Prof. Anand Srivastava (Faculty) from #IIITDelhi has been accepted in IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering.

Paper titled "BIOFUSE: A Framework For Multi-Biometric Fusion On Biocryptosystem Level" authored by Surabhi Garg (IIITD), Munawar Hasan (IIITD), Mohona Ghosh (IGDTUW) and Donghoon Chang (IIITD) has been accepted for publication as a regular paper in the Elsevier information sciences

The paper "Cellular basis of the loss of smell in COVID-19 infected individuals" authored by Krishan Gupta, Sanjay Kumar Mohanty, Aayushi Mittal, Siddhant Kalra, Suvendu Kumar, Tripti Mishra, Jatin Ahuja, Debarka Sengupta and Gaurav Ahuja was published in the journal 'Briefings in Bioinformatics'.

Increasing use of therapeutic peptides for treating cancer has received considerable attention of the scientific community in recent years. Researchers at #IIITDelhi describe the in silico model developed for predicting and designing anticancer peptides (ACPs). Paper authored by Piyush Agrawal, Dhruv Bhagat, Manish Mahalwal, Neelam Sharma, Gajendra P S Raghava was published in ‘Briefings in Bioinformatics’ journal

Paper by Neha Jain, Dr. Vivek Ashok Bohara and Prof. Anubha Gupta, titled "PCI-MF: Partial canonical identity and Matrix factorization framework for channel estimation in mmWave Massive MIMO systems" is accepted in IEEE Open Journal on Signal Processing, 2020.

Paper titled ‘An Inference Algorithm for Multi-Label MRF-MAP Problems with Clique Size 100’ authored by Ishant Shanu (PhD at #IIITD), Siddhant Bharti (Code Nation), Chetan Arora (Prof. at IIT Delhi) & S.N. Maheshwari (Prof. at IIT Delhi) has been published in European Conference on Computer Vision #ECCV2020.

The article titled "A Quantified Approach of Predicting Suitability of using the Unscented Kalman Filter in a Non-linear Application" by Dr. Sanat K Biswas has been accepted for publication in Automatica, one of the most eminent journals in the domain of Control Theory (impact factor 7.78, h index 258). The article is co-authored by Dr. Li Qiao, UNSW Canberra and Professor Andrew Dempster, Director, Australian Centre for Space Engineering Research.

Short Course/Seminars/Events

The one-month online course on 'VLSI ReVisited: From Analog to Digital' conducted by IIITD Faculty Prof. Visweswaran, Prof. Jamuar, Dr. Anuj Grover, Dr. Sujay Deb, and Dr. Sumit Darak from the Dept. of ECE was completed.

The final round of #BIZPITCH, the 3rd event for school students organized by the Academic Team of #IIITDelhi was conducted on 1st and 2nd August 2020.

IIITD started with an initiative to increase interactions with School Students and Teachers. On 1st August we organized an extempore competition, Ease to speak, for school students. Students of classes IV to XII took part in the competition.
