Dr. Richa Gupta received the Role Model Working Professional Award at the 16th NCPEDP–Mphasis Universal Design Awards 2025.

Dr. Rahul Gupta and Mr. Abhishek Kumar secured top positions in both the Product Showcase and Research Tank competitions at RIISE’25.

Prof. S. S. Jamuar received the IEEE R10 Life Member Outstanding Volunteer Award.

Prof. Debarka Sengupta has been selected for the Rashtriya Vigyan Puraskar: Vigyan Yuva – Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar 2025.

Young Alumni Award 2025 was presented to Dr. Akshay Agarwal (Ph.D. 2021) and Dr. Raghav Sehgal (B.Tech. 2016) for their notable research contributions.

Mintu Kumar, a B.Tech. (EVE) student, has been shortlisted for the Samsung Fellowship under ISWDP Cohort 6.

IIIT-Delhi’s Team Rocket secured AIR 3 (Second Runner-Up) among 20,000+ teams in the Amazon ML Challenge 2025.

IIIT-Delhi’s Team “The Bulls”, mentored by the MIDAS Lab, secured 4th place among 872 teams at the Securities Market Hackathon.

IIITD secured 63rd rank in NIRF (2025) in the Engineering category.

Research

At IIIT-Delhi’s Space Systems Lab, Dr. Sanat K. Biswas and his team are using AI to make space navigation safer.
