IIIT-Delhi has been awarded a Top 10 Institution in India for Women in STEM by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
Lakshay Panchal (B.Tech. ECE, Class of 2023) will represent India at the Denmark Open 2026, an international rifle and pistol championship.
Riddhi Sharma (Ph.D. student, IIIT-Delhi; Advised by Dr. Arjun Ray), received the Best Poster Award at Frontiers of Engineering in Healthcare held at IIT Gandhinagar.
Team TDS, mentored by Dr. Saket Anand, secured 2nd place at the Datathon during the Indian Symposium on Machine Learning 2025.
Prof. Gajendra P. S. Raghava, Professor and Head, Department of Computational Biology, received the Lifetime Achievement Award 2025 from the Bioinformatics and Drug Discovery Society (BIDDS).
Prof. Debarka Sengupta received the Rashtriya Vigyan Puraskar: Vigyan Yuva – Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Award 2025 in Biological Sciences.
The Broadband Information Transport and Secured Optical Network group at IIIT-Delhi won the Best Demo Paper Award at IEEE ANTS 2025.
The paper “Energy-Aware Runtime Resource Harmonizer for Co-running Applications” received the Distinguished Paper Award at HiPC 2025.
Dr. Venktesh V (Ph.D. CSE alumnus, 2023; advised by Prof. Vikram Goyal & Prof. Mukesh Mohania), has joined Stockholm University as an Assistant Professor.
Dr. Deepika Yadav (Ph.D. CSE alumna, 2021; advised by Prof. Pushpendra Singh), has joined Aalto University as Assistant Professor, with Honorable Mentions at ACM CHI 2023 and ACM India 2022.

Mr. Mohit Kumar (Assistant Administrative Officer, IRD Division) presented his paper at IHERC 2025, held at IIT Delhi on 21–22 November.
Mr. Khagendra Joshi, Deputy Technical Officer (Research), presented a poster at IHERC 2025 held at R&I Park, IIT Delhi.
A team of IIIT-Delhi researchers, led by Dr. Ranjitha Prasad, showcased the Institute’s research at the 13th ACM iKDD Conference held at IISER Pune.
ANRF approved funding for seven research proposals from IIIT-Delhi faculty, recognizing the Institute’s strong research contributions.

IIIT-Delhi marked its 14th Convocation, celebrating the achievements of the Class of 2025.
India HCI 2025, hosted at IIIT-Delhi from 7–9 November 2025, successfully brought together academia and industry under the theme “Transhumanism in HCI: Improving Human Condition Through Technology”.
IIIT-Delhi hosted an AlumniTalk by Ekansh Sareen (B.Tech. 2019; Ph.D. candidate, EPFL, Switzerland) on innovations in neuromodulation and mapping.
The 19th edition of IEEE ANTS 2025, hosted at IIIT-Delhi, brought together global researchers and industry leaders for four days of rich technical exchange, strategic discussions, collaboration, and forward-looking insights.
The 7th Symposium on Computational Gastronomy was held at IIIT-Delhi on 13 December, bringing together experts in food, AI, and data science.
