A collaborative study involving Dr. Mrinmoy Chakrabarty (Faculty, SSH-IIITD) alongside researchers in Tokyo Metropolitan University and NRCD, Japan have used infrared eye-tracking measures coupled with computer-based gaze training to show that individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) can quickly learn the usage of social cue. The findings support the potential of computer-based interventions to address the core social cognitive issues in ASD
