Welcome to the ICS Middle School  


Thank you for being part of our wonderful community and for learning about our exciting middle school programs through our Middle School Handbook.


The ICS Middle School program is grounded in our school’s Foundational Principles.  The ICS Way and IB Learner Profile encourage us to be internationally minded and positive contributing members of the community by caring for ourselves, each other, and this place so that once students leave ICS, they can thrive in our complex and ever-changing world.  As a Middle Years Programme (MYP) candidate school, we provide a holistic approach to educating our students in learning environments that support each student's needs and interests.  We are excited to be on the journey of becoming an authorised MYP middle school and to see the positive impact is has on our students and the ICS community.


The middle school years present tremendous opportunities and challenges for our students.  With the student at the centre, our goal is to work together with families to support and guide them to be successful in their  learning and development as young adolescents.  


This handbook will support your learning as parents through outlining the procedures, practices, and policies that guide the middle school. Also, at the bottom of each page you will find a FAQ section with videos and resources to support your understanding.
