Prohibited Substances and Items

Prohibited Substances and Items: ICS does not permit student possession, use or transfer of tobacco, alcohol or drugs on school grounds, on school trips, at social functions or at any school-sponsored events. Attending school or any school function under the influence of drugs or alcohol is also prohibited and will result in serious consequences.

It is important that all members of the ICS community work together to preserve and enhance the school’s reputation. Therefore, all students are expected to respect and abide by local legal regulations, including those related to illegal substance abuse.

Students found in possession of such substances or prohibited items (meant for self-harm or to harm or intimidate someone else) will be given serious consequences. If anyone finds a suspicious substance or a prohibited item at ICS, they are expected to report it immediately to an adult on campus.
