IAS Kenya is known for delivering quality services in all its projects. The performance of the organisation in the different services provided has been above expectations. The growth has been consistent and focused on the original call to service. The culture of quality and humility run through all the programmes undertaken by the organisation. A good number of respondents contacted during the planning process attested to the fact that if not for IAS Kenya, their lives would be worse off.
Since 2015, over 10.000 pupils in Tharaka Nithi County, have been fed on a daily basis. This has resulted in increased enrolment, retention and transition to secondary schools. The feeding programme has also had a bearing on the children's academic performance and the involvement of parents in their children's education has increased. Moreover, this project has helped in improved household income. Other notable outcomes include an increase in the number of community based organisations engaged in livelihood support initiatives, improved access to sanitation and hygiene practices, an increase in the number of households with safe drinking water, communities living in harmony and observance of human rights.
In Tana River county, the organisation is involved in improved access to education by targeting marginalised children with barriers to learning by building relevant infrastructure. During disasters and emergencies, IAS Kenya responds to the human crises by providing humanitarian aid such as food and non-food items.
