Vision: “A World where Communities are Empowered to Live Dignified Lives”
Mission: “We seek to empower communities through the promotion of access to education, sustainable livelihood, environmental stewardship and human rights”.
Core values: Stewardship, Human Dignity, Integrity, Professionalism, and Partnership
IAS Kenya has grown from its role as a coordinating hub for Somalia's and South Sudan's humanitarian support services to a national organisation that contributes to human development initiatives.
“Overall strategic goal 2020-2024 is a sustainable Organization transforming communities in Kenya ”
IAS Kenya focuses on the development of civil society, humanitarian and development projects where churches and community-based organisation partnerships and projects have developed into well-established programmes within IAS Kenya priority sectors of work and geographical focus. The team in Kenya works closely together with the local partners when implementing projects. We are implementing projects directly or with partners in Tharaka Nithi, Tana River, Nairobi, Baringo and Nakuru counties. The Strategic Plan 2020-2024 is a road map to expand to at least 3 more counties.
