At Hylands Primary School, we are proud to provide an engaging and well-resourced library that is regularly accessed by all classes. The library serves as a central hub for fostering a love of reading and is integral to our school’s reading culture. New book series and titles are highlighted through dynamic and visually engaging displays, alongside themed book collections that celebrate national holidays and multicultural events throughout the year. The library’s collection is thoughtfully categorised by genre and theme, rather than reading levels, to support our commitment to promoting reading for pleasure and encouraging children to explore a wide variety of texts.
