Music Tuition and Enrichment Opportunities
We are proud to offer a range of musical opportunities to enhance students' creativity, confidence, and collaboration skills.
In addition to providing a selection of instrumental lessons within school, Havering Music School (HMS) offers a variety of enriching activities through their Saturday and Weekday Music Centres. These include individual and group instrumental lessons, ensemble opportunities, and regular performance events.
For more information, please visit Havering Music School. To arrange lessons, please contact HMS directly, and they will confirm availability for sessions during school hours. Havering Music School
We offer students the opportunity to join a music band through I-Rock, a program available to many children across the school. These 30-minute weekly lessons are led by a peripatetic band teacher, with students grouped by age into rock bands of up to nine members. Children can choose to play the drums, guitar, keyboard, or sing.
Due to the popularity of this provision, there is sometimes a waiting list. If you are interested, please contact I-Rock directly. I-Rock
For pupils in Years 4-6, our Junior Choir is an after-school activity led by Mrs. Cornell and Mrs. Thorne. The choir meets regularly to prepare for performances at various events throughout the year.
Mr. Cullen runs a weekly lunchtime Guitar Club for Year 5 and 6 pupils interested in learning the guitar. The school provides shared guitars for participants.
For further details about school-run clubs and tuition, please contact the school office.
