Bedtime Book Boxes

Bedtime book boxes are a well-loved reading for pleasure initiative that we run for children in Nursery up to Year 3. Each week, a child is chosen in each class to take home the bedtime book box which contains a book chosen specifically for that child by their class teacher to share and enjoy at home with a family member. Along with the book, the box contains a cuddly friend to cuddle up with and a hot chocolate to enjoy while reading. Recommended read lists are added to the boxes to support families in choosing reading material at home and the book review journal can be completed by pupils and families to share what they thought about the book.
