The Schools as Learning Organisation model, Professional Standards and National Approach to Professional Learning guide our design of professional learning (PL) as well as the revised approach to Performance Management, known as Performance Development. Also, EEF published A Balanced Approach to Professional Development. Pembrokeshire has adopted Thomas Guskey's approach to evaluating the quality and impact of PL, which is of course also very useful to consider in the planning and implementing stages.
