Task 1: In your books, list the adjectives you can find. e.g. enormous

Adjective: An adjective is a word that describes a noun (the name of an object or place)

Task 2: Choose an adjective and an animal to use as a new title for the story, e.g. The nervous elephant or The terrifying tortoise. You can use the animal and adjective word bank below or think of your own.

Write them down in your book and draw some pictures to match them.

Task 1: Follow the video to help you draw a picture of a crocodile.

Then, fill inside the crocodile with adjectives to describe him. You can describe how he looks and his personality.

Follow the video to make a crocodile puppet out of paper.

You will need white, red and green paper (or coloured white paper) black felt tip, glue and scissors. Why not create a theater and use your puppet to perform a scene out of the story 'The Enormous Crocodile'?

Feelings: There are many feelings that we experience every day e.g. we feel happy, sad, scared, nervous or cross etc. Have you felt all of these feelings before?

Happiness to me: Draw a picture or write about what happiness means to you. What makes you feel happy? How do you feel on the inside? Is there a person, an animal or a place that makes you feel happy?

If you feel sad sometimes, what can you do to make you feel happy?

Seeing the kite flying in the air cheered up Daf. His bad mood disappeared with the wind. Design your ideal kite. The picture on it should be something that would make you smile. The kite can be any shape but don't forget a long tail.
