Action research

Key considerations:

  1. What opportunities do we provide for our staff to conduct their own action research?

  2. How can we promote the benefits of action research to our teaching staff?

  3. How do we support teachers to undertake action research in their classrooms?

  4. How do we share the reflections made by teachers during their action research?

Action research is a process of exploration with a clear focus; the findings of which can be shared in order to enrich whole school practice. This evaluative and reflective approach can be undertaken individually or collaboratively, which can lead to change in practice and improved learner experience.
