If you want to work on the assignments at home you could use the link below. Photopea is an online program that is extremely similar to Photoshop. Functions and files work the same but you will have to save to your google drive or a flash drive to work from school and home.

The purpose of this class is to introduce students to the general application of Photoshop through typography, digital imaging, and photography. As a year long source some projects will take a couple of days and other several weeks for each project . So Enjoy some of the work:-)
There will be a series of photography related assignments on particular topics and concepts. By the end of the course each students should have a good foundation and have the ability to create a small portfolio of work to present during class discussions, midterms, and final exams. This is the first year we are offering this full year class and I am looking forward to what we come up with.

Digital Dictionary
Student will be creating a page for a 40-page book which will also be incorporating the images, text, and layout to make their own dictionary from images they photograph. The long term goal of the project is to have them possibly print them out on Shutterfly which when downloading the app will allow you to make a free 6x6 book. Student works will all be on a 6x6 document at 300 resolutions. Below is an example and as we create finished page the student will be also working towards a cover, introduction, and authors page. Please see examples below.
Notes to assure you have everything you need:
Photos: are they clear and do they go along with your theme? Is there a clear and defined light source?
Background: is it clear and does it carry throughout the book?
Text: Do you have your letter placed to help transition to the text. Do you have the word, pronunciation, description, definition, and have it used in a sentence?? Finally, did you make the word slightly bigger than the rest of the text?
