I was born in California and moved to Missouri when I was almost ten. I attended Parkway Schools from fourth grade to graduation from South Senior High. I was a member of the softball, swimming, and gymnastics teams.

I have been married for thirty-four years to my wonderful husband, Monty. We have one grown son, David (DJ). Mandy and Colleen are my grown step-daughters. We have 4 grand kids; Logan 13, Alice 8, Annabelle 5, and Ava 3.

I earned my BS degree in Elementary Education from Central Methodist University, and have additional certification in Early Childhood Education, and Communication Arts (grades 5-9). I received my Master's degree from Southwest Baptist University.

This will be my twenty-fourth year with the Hillsboro School District.

I own an antique and collectibles shop, an auction house and a furniture store in Festus, on Main Street.
