Job Responsibilities:
1. Facilities Maintenance:
* Oversee the upkeep and repair of physical assets, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and structural components.
Schedule and manage preventative maintenance activities.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors for construction, repair and improvement projects.
2. Health, Safety, and Security:
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
* Manage security systems and protocols to protect facilities.
3. Space and Asset Management:
* Optimize space utilization to meet organizational needs.
* Track and manage facility assets, ensuring efficient use and longevity.
4. Budget and Cost Control:
* Develop and manage facility budgets, including maintenance, utilities, and capital expenditures.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
5. Team Leadership:
* Supervise admin facilities staff, including maintenance technicians and admin support
* Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback.
6. Process Improvement:
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
* Drive sustainability initiatives, such as energy conservation and waste reduction.
7. Emergency Preparedness:
* Develop and maintain emergency response plans for natural disasters, fire, or other crises.
* Ensure readiness and response systems are in place.
