Code of Conduct
The code of conduct identifies the standard of behaviour which is expected of all members including: athletes, coaches, parents, volunteers, and school staff
Fair play, fun and positive behaviour is a priority at all times
Behaviour of visiting teams is the responsibility of the Coach and/or supervisor of that team
Abuse by coaches or players towards officials will not be tolerated. Each involved in any sport must always remember that coaches coach, players play, and officials officiate- each to the best of their ability
The host school has the right to refuse participation of any coach, player or spectator who does not comply with proper sportsmanship
Members shall refrain from comments or behaviors which are disrespectful, offensive, abusive, racist, or sexist or otherwise contravene the safe and caring schools policy as adopted by the Horizon School Division
Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action in accordance with Disciplinary Action stated below
