Drawing Club

The Drawing Club is one of many choices offered to students in Grades Five through Eight each trimester. Students gather for one period a week to explore a subject that interests them. Under the guidance of Mrs. Pastore, students in the Drawing Club began with basic drawing exercises. Students were then challenged to copy one of Vincent van Gogh's sunflower paintings. Each student in their own style, beautifully recreated the painting in a value drawing. Students progressed to drawing their mirrored image as well and experimenting with drawing as it relates to painting.
