With table easels, tempura paint, and photo references at hand, the artists of Seventh Grade are ready to tackle landscape painting. Student interpretations varied from life-like images to abstract compositions. Not all the work was completed due to the Covid-19 closure but still worthy of display.

Drawing in black glue was the first challenge for Seventh Grade Artists. Creating the illusion of volume in pastel chalk was the second, and light casting shadow was the third.

Students were given three squares of watercolor paper to paint and cut into symmetrical shapes. Oil Pastels on black paper illustrated pine branches. With a flourish of glitter, our Seventh Grade Artists gave the viewer a peek into a Christmas tree!
