Q: There are many cars, coming down the hill from Takadai elementary school, at high speed and there were some dangerous cases with cars trying to park under the dorm. Can roadsigns, mirror and/or panels be added to remind the driver?
A: Your concern has been shared with Mr. Schlosser and he will see what are the possible measures which can be taken.
(Oct. 10th) Mr. Tawaraya from the office has contacted Hokkaido Police Department and they will be conduction on site check.
NOTE: For the safety and as a curtesy to the neighbors, please refrain from parking on the street (especially in a way that the car covers the sidewalk). Thank you for your support and understanding. 安全とご近所への配慮として、道路への駐車(特に歩道にはみ出る状態で)はご遠慮くださるようにお願いします。ご理解とご協力をお願いします。

Q: Can the temperature slip be paperless (Google form)? Can it be printed at school?
A: Mr. Schlosser replied:
We need to stick with the current process for now (it's the most common across international schools still) for a variety of reasons (we've considered google form, but it very significantly complicates the process of verifying temperatures at the door and creates higher risk of missing a student unless every student does it 100%), but YES, two things to support on the slip process: 1) We do accept other forms of the slip as long as it is signed by the parent and includes all the info (so doesn't have to be that specific paper if parent has a hard time printing), and 2) Today I will ask office staff to put slips in homeroom teachers boxes for distribution in all classes). Hope that helps!
