The PTA would like to invite to submit application for monetary grants.
Every year, the PTA sets aside approximately ¥1,000,000 to fund special projects, programs, or initiatives around the school. Although grants are available all year, requests are usually decided twice a year, in winter and in late spring. As such, teachers are requested to submit applications by the end of December or by the end of April . By following these two deadlines, the grant application process hopes meet the needs of most teachers. If a request is time-sensitive and cannot wait until December or April, please explain this in your documentation and the PTA will move to take action sooner.
PLEASE NOTE: Priority for grants is typically given based on the following criteria:
- The request helps develop an existing program at the school.
- The requested purchase benefits a large number of students across the school (rather than just
a particular class).
- The requested purchase would typically not fall within normal school, classroom, or
programing budgets.
Please understand that the PTA receives many requests each year, and not all requests can be accepted.
To apply for the PTA Grant, follow this procedure:

-Send this form to the PTA by clicking on the top right button. If you wish, you can turn in printed either to the PTA chair or to PTA mailbox located in front of the school office. You are wish to attend a PTA steering committee meeting to describe orally the need for the PTA grant. After the winter or spring.
-PTA steering committee meeting (depending on when application was submitted), a determination on the application will be made. If approved, the PTA chair will sign the form and give a copy to the applicant and a copy to the school office.
