Free Zoom Yoga session with Ms. Karryn Miller: November 4th 11:00-12:00

If you are interested in joining the session, please contact Karryn at karrynmiller@gmail.com

Grounding Slow Flow

This one hour yoga session is all about connecting to our foundation to help us feel safe and secure in stressful times. The 60-minute class will consist of a grounding slow flow yoga practice, with a particular focus on releasing tension and opening up the feet and lower body; calming breathwork; and a guided visualization. This session is suitable for all levels.

Karryn Miller first started to teach yoga in 2008 after completing a yoga teacher training at Sun & Moon Yoga in Tokyo. After leaving Japan in 2009 she completed a Street Yoga Teacher Training (designed to help teachers share yoga and mindfulness with youth and families struggling with homelessness, poverty, and trauma) with Yoga District and began teaching yoga in Washington, DC. At that time she also volunteered through Yoga Activist, where she helped make yoga accessible to marginalized communities by sharing the practice in various places from homeless shelters to schools in disadvantaged communities.

Since then she's lived and worked in Vietnam, India and Korea. In Vietnam she completed a 200-hour teacher training with Hart Lazer and a STOTT Pilates certification and taught several yoga and pilates classes a week at Zenith Yoga Hanoi. Karryn has also completed an "Every Kid's Yoga: Teaching Yoga to Children with Special Needs" teacher training. She has taught yoga to all ages over the years including preschoolers, teenagers, and adults.
